Author Donald McCaig will be at Christopher Newport University for a book-signing and talk. His most recent novel, Rhett Butler's People, has spent twelve weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List. He has received the American Library Association Award for best Military Fiction and the John Esten Cooke Award for best Southern Fiction. McCaig was also named an honorary doctor of humanities by Christopher Newport University.
