Alex Catalogue of Electronic Texts
"The Alex Catalogue of Electronic Texts is a collection of about 14,000 “classic” public domain documents from American and English literature as well as Western philosophy." The site can be browsed by author or title; a search feature is also available.

Asian Classics Input Project
This site was created digitally preserve and disseminating "Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscripts that hold the philosophical, cultural, and religious heritage of endangered cultures dating back more than 2000 years." Selected texts are provided in English.

Munsey's
Access "rare and hard to find" titles in a variety of formats.

DjVu Editions
Classic works of literature available in DjVu format as well as in PDF.

DPP Store – Free Books
Access free e-books through links provided at the DPP store. The store also sells other items. Free registration is required.

eBooks@Adelaide
University of Adelaide Library’s collection of online books covers classic works of Literature, Philosophy, Science, and History. Most of the books are available to everyone, some however are restricted to use by members of the University.

Project Gutenberg Consortia Center
A site from Project Gutenberg designed for the collection and distribution of ebooks that are in the public domain. "PGCC is designed to house collection of collections of eBooks--rather than on the creation of eBooks, or the collection of eBooks one eBook at a time. We find various collections and ask if these collections would benefit from inclusion in Project Gutenberg, and exposure from our sites around the world."

Renascence Editions Collection
An Online Repository of Works Printed in English Between the Years 1477 and 1799. Provided for non-profit purposes by the University of Oregon.

Dr. Widger's Library
"A collection of copyright-expired and generally out-of-print books from my library which I have scanned, proofed and submitted to Project Gutenberg for the use of anyone anywhere at no cost and with almost no restrictions whatsoever. They may be copied or published with or without credit to either myself or Project Gutenberg under the terms and minimal restrictions outlined in the headers of each individual file."
