Welcome to The Lookout
Check back here often to get the latest on library construction, learn about new databases, and library news, such as changes in hours.
Construction update
Demolition of portions of the library has finally begun. You can hear the jack hammering in the library, you can see the progress from the Shoe Lane entrance to CNU. The second floor study area and the old media center are in the process of being gutted to make way for the machine room for the new library. Smith Hall no longer exists.
The New Library
Wondering what we'll see at the end of all the construction? There is a display in the lobby of the library showing the architects depictions of the new building. Floor plans will be added soon.
Can't find it?
Over the summer, a number of moves took place to get ready for construction. If you can't find something you are looking for, please ask at the Circulation or Reference desk, and we'll be happy to help you. Or look at the library maps that are located throughout the building.
