The Lookout

A wall is being constructed in the library to the right of the entrance.  This will seal off the area that used to be Einstein's cafe.   The internet access computers that used to be along that wall are now scattered throughout the library.  If you need assistance, please ask a staff member at the Circulation or Reference Desk.

If you are using PsycINFO, ERIC, CINAHL, or Journals@OVID, you will see that the OVID databases now have a different look.  Functionality remains the same, plus a few new features have been added.  New features include "Find Similar", "Find Citation", and "Find Citing Articles".  If you have any questions please email library@cnu.edu, call 594-7132, or ask a Reference Librarian.

Factiva will be unavailable on Saturday, July 16 from 8pm until midnight.  The company has scheduled server maintence at this time.

Mary Sellen joined the Captain John Smith Library as University Librarian on July 1, 2005. She previously was the assistant library director for user services at SUNY-Albany. Ms. Sellen holds the B.Mus. degree from the Sherwood Music School (Illinois) and both the M.Mus. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Illinois.
