Help improve our website

The Captain John Smith Library is working to improve the Library's website.  To make the website more user friendly, we are looking for your input and feedback. Take a short survey of 8 questions telling us about your experience with the library website - how often do you visit, do you find what you need, what do you like best, what's frustrating, and do you have any suggestions.
A link to the survey is located at the top of the library homepage (http://library.cnu.edu).  Fill out the survey and enter your name and email address to win prizes - an iPod Nano, a Sony CD/DVD player, a $25 gift certificate to Einstein's Cafe, a $25 gift certificate to the CNU bookstore, and a CNU sweatshirt from the bookstore
If you have any questions, contact the Reference Desk at 594-7132 or email library@cnu.edu.

New look for NewsBank

NewsBank, which provides full text content of local, national, and international newspapers, has a new look.

The web site has been redesigned to make it easier to search their site.  The new look highlights current events (hot topics and headlines), special reports, and NewsBank maps.  In addition to newspapers, NewsBank provides access to wire services, magazines, science digests, and business journals.

NewsBank can be accessed through the Quick Links in the blue column on the Library homepage. If you have questions, call the Reference Desk at 594-7132 or email library@cnu.edu.
